HOW DID YOU MEET?

We were 17 he messaged me on Instagram.

TELL US ABOUT YOUR FIRST DATE?

I was with my friend hanging out and told him to come out for a drive I saw him everyday from that day onwards.

WHO PROPOSED & HOW?

I already knew we were getting married, before he proposed he told me to pick a date at the venue we wanted to get married. As I waited patiently for my dream proposal we had to start getting the ball rolling on everything wedding as we only had three months to plan a whole wedding! He picked me up and said we were going to retake our pre wedding shots we then went to friendship garden in Sydney CBD walked around and took photos than he proposed. This proposal was everything I wanted it was real , it was him and it was us !

NOW FOR THE EXCITING PART, TELL US ABOUT YOUR ENGAGEMENT RING?

Princess cut ring it was exactly the ring I wanted however I had asked for a diamond lab ring. The reason my partner didn’t get the lab ring is because “a natural diamond that takes millions of years to be made has more meaning than a lab one “

WHERE DID YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH YOUR DRESS & WHY?

My mum picked my wedding dress my initial reaction was “yuck I’m not wearing that” because I had an image in my head knowing what I wanted …. Till I tried the dress on it was meant to be it was the perfect size, it made me feel like a princess and it had just been put out as a sample that day. The biggest tick was that my 1.5 year old niece fell in love with and was mesmerised that’s when I knew it was the one

WHAT WAS THE BEST MOMENT FOR YOU AT YOUR WEDDING?

Seeing everyone enjoying themselves on the dance floor.

WHAT WERE YOUR FAVOURITE DETAILS?

My Favourite details were definitely the bonbonnieres in our tradition a cup of coffee has 40 years worth of memories. We had little mason jars with Turkish coffee in them and they were everything I wanted.

WHAT OTHER ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE OTHER BRIDES?

Never let anyone tell you what to do you do you and make sure you do what makes you happy don’t stress yourself about upsetting others it’s your wedding. If something goes wrong that’s okay no one knows but you.

Married life is like living in a house with your best friend but better

Never forget the reason why you got married and always communicate tell each other you love each other everyday and never go to sleep angry. Yesterday’s argument should stay with yesterday
