Naum & Sibel

HOW DID YOU MEET?

We met when we were both 19 in the City on a night out. Dancing the night away with my friends before Naum whisked me away, we spoke all night and the rest is history!

TELL US ABOUT YOUR FIRST DATE?

Our first date was at Bondi Pizza in Brighton. Naum picked me up and we had dinner and then went for a walk by the beach.

WHO PROPOSED & HOW?

Naum proposed on my birthday weekend, we had lunch at Opera Bar then went for a walk in the Botanical Gardens. We were taking a break and I saw my sister and cousin pop out of the bushes recording just as he was going on one knee to propose. It was a magical moment!

NOW FOR THE EXCITING PART, TELL US ABOUT YOUR ENGAGEMENT RING?

I’m obsessed with my engagement ring, it’s a beautiful oval design that Naum worked with Nader Jewellers to create.

WHERE DID YOU FALL IN LOVE  WITH YOUR DRESS & WHY?

My dress is by Christina Rossi. I was in the process of trying to find the perfect dress as I didn’t have a specific design in mind, I just knew I wanted a ball gown to have my princess moment! When I tried on this dress I just knew it was the one!.

WHAT WAS THE BEST MOMENT FOR YOU AT YOUR WEDDING?

My favourite moment was our bridal waltz, it felt like we were just the two of us dancing alone like in a movie. It was a magical moment that I will always remember.

WHAT  WERE YOUR FAVOURITE DETAILS?

My favourite details were at my ceremony where Eliz worked her magic. The details were beautiful, from the candles, flower arrangements and welcome sign to the romantic vibe created by the violist. Everything was perfect and I had so many guests tell me how much they enjoyed vibe of the ceremony.

WHAT  OTHER ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE OTHER BRIDES?

When planning your wedding make sure you are selecting aspects that you and your partner want, do not focus on details that are aimed towards pleasing your guests. Invest your time and effort on things that will impact how you will remember the day when you look back on it.

WHAT IS MARRIED LIFE LIKE ? ANY ADVICE?

Married life is a learning process like everything else in life and we’re getting better at it day by day and learning how to be our best selves for each other and growing our love for each other everyday.
